With Boss...

In case you don't know or don't realise, I loooooooove horses... since I was little... love them forever and ever and ever...

Boss is the name of this horse. He belongs to Mommy's friend's sister, Sarah. We went to a baby party last week and the family had two horses. Boss was a bit old but he was very friendly and gentle. Sarah used to ride Boss on races and won many times. So Boss was a champion horse. Very lucky to have the chance to hop on him... I like him. I hope to be able to go and see him again one day. Mommy's friend had a biiiig property with lots of animals. I also saw a lot of wild wallabies hopping around that evening...

I am a big girl now, well... I have been for a little while, it's just that I am even bigger now ;-). I just turned four last month. I had a big birthday party at the park next to where we live. Had a lot of friends coming and I was very happy. We played lots of games like egg n spoon race, sack race, pass the parcel and I had a big princess pinnata full of goodies.

It has been over a year since the last update and despite many protests from many people, my mommy claimed she was super busy but I still think she was just being lazy... But here it is finally... an update... and well, hopefully a few more after this. There has been quite a lot going on between then and now. I have just turned 4 and brother is turning 2 soon. We played together well although I don't like it when brother always tries to snatch my food.. He loves his food but so do I.. well, not as much as he does, but still...
I am going to go to Preschool next year, 3 days a week.. yiha.. i can't wait. We are also going to go on a big family holiday back to where mommy came from in January to attend ciu-ciu Ti and aunty Kirsten's wedding. That would be fun! I will be the flower girl... yes!
Hmm.. what else? hard to think of where to start telling... maybe when mommy starts to post some more photos, I could tell more from the photos. But for now, here you are... some photos of my brother... He is big boy now. I love playing with him. He is a bit naughty at times especially when he copies what I do! That's when mommy will have a go at me for giving bad examples to brother. Well, I would say that's your fault, brother, for copying me... not my fault for doing it! Sometimes we fight as well, especially when my brother tries to take MY food when he already finishes his. Oh, and sometimes when I can get angry at my mommy for having a go at him even when he is naughty. I love my brother!

Hmmm... mommy, haven't we seen photo of me like this somewhere before? We kids just like smudging chocolate all over our face... it's fun, especially when we could get away doing it on the clothes, floor and furniture as well.. Hey, brother, watch out, you are just next to daddy's message chair. Don't think he would want chocolate on it as well after the orange juice last week...

Mommy's friend, Aunty Cat (I pronounced it Aunty Tat), from Tassie came and stayed with us for a week for holiday. We did a lot of things with her and when mommy's working, she took me out as well. I think she thought I was naughty but cute. We went fish feeding as well and she bought me an icypole. On the weekend, we went for a 4 hour boat tour in Katherine Gorge which is about 299 km from Darwin. We had a great time, grandma, mommy, aunty Tat, Nathaniel and I.

Sorry, 'thaniel... you are too little to go into this big nice Lily pond. You are lucky enough that mommy can carry you to here and you don't have to wait on the boat. It was a rough walk to here.

There were 4 gorges that we toured with the boats. From each gorge, we had to get off the boat, walk on the sand and across the stoney separator between one gorge to another, and then get on to another boat. I was always running although sometimes when it got too dangerous mommy had to carry me across.
Look.. look.. brother is eating icypole... hey, brother, aren't you a bit too small for icypole???

Sunday Morning, mommy took grandma, me and 'thaniel to breakfast at cornucopia cafe by the water. It was yummy!! And I loved running around the lawn and it was so beautiful by the water. now, that's what we call a beautiful smile...

Easter Bunnies

I don't know how many easter bunnies around but they certainly left quite a few chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies around! Easter eggs hunt on Sunday. First ones I found was when I opened the door to get out, they were just there! (Although I think the bunny was a bit sick coz it was very hot. When I picked it up, it felt a bit sick and I had to quickly put it in the fridge) Then I had to go to look for them around the trees and grass. And I found a lot! I loved unwrapping them. I kept unwrapping and unwrapping them, I didn't even care if I ate them. I would've still be unwrapping them if mommy hadn't stopped me. sst.. she is a bit of a spoilsport. She said I have to stop unwrapping them until I want to eat them. But.. who cares..!
Oh, btw, I also collect brother's share too.. well, he was still a tad too little to get out there and hunt.

A bicycle ride

Yesterday Daddy finished fixing his bicycle that has been sitting under the stairs for a long time just rusting away. And we went for a little ride just around the complex because we haven't had the helmets yet. But daddy promised to buy some helmet this week and also put on a proper toddler seat at the back of the bike so we can go bike riding properly :-)

My Brother...

A lot of people have asked mommy of the photos of my brother... yes, my new born baby brother... Nathaniel Joseph Freeland, born on the 18th December 2006, 4.1 kg and 53.5 cm. He is a big boy, he is over 5 kg now in just over 3 weeks. And oh, he can be very noisy sometimes especially when he cries. I always try to tell him to stop. Sometimes I say, 'It's okay,brother..' or sometimes when he gets to loud I just say, 'Stop, brother!' but he never seems to listen to me!

Lucky him, he gets to have the boobies now which used to be MINE (mommy wouldn't let me have any now! unfair, he doesn't have to share with me while mommy keep saying that I have to share with brother!)

I like to give him cuddles and kisses but I was not allowed to squeeze him with my arms coz mommy said he is still to little... *sigh* and mommy also said he is too little for tickle tickle when I tried to tickle him. *sigh again* *when is he gonna grow up?*

Anyway, here are some photos of MY BROTHER (I AM a big sister now!) and me and mommy and daddy and also some with Ciu Ciu Ti (Uncle Ti) and his girlfriend Kirsten when they came and visited us from tassie.

This is brother in his 'cool sunglasses' when he had the photo therapy treatment at the hospital for being a bit jaundice. So they put him under the UV lights all day and all night but he has to wear sunglasses. I reckon he looks really cool...

Yipee... I got my first Christmas tree. Mommy and Daddy helped me put it up. There were lots of glittering stars, shiny balls, eggs (well, they just shaped like eggs, so I called them 'eggs'), santas, a pussy cat, a doggie and lots of little angels too. I handed them one by one to Daddy and he helped hung them to the higher part and I hung on the lower part of the tree. Oh, and if you see carefully, mommy bought me a little village with a choo choo train going around with lots and lots of lights... very pretty... And you know what, mommy got the most interesting part, tidying up the mess! hehehe... I helped though.. I am a good girl!

It was a special day at school, I found my mommy came in early with a big nice birthday cake for me. Gee, I got all the attention, everyone sang for me and I blew the '2' candle. I love having my birthday! Oh, and I had a special one last saturday too at the Water Park with all my friends and had lots and lots of presents. And I had lots of fun playing with the water. I went on the big curly slide on my own! Oh, and you know what I got from daddy? He gave me a bracellet with lucky charms on it.
Only thing that I don't quite understand is that mommy and daddy now keep saying that I am now a terrible two. Shouldn't they be saying I am a fantastic two? I think I am fantastic. Yeah right, I do throw tantrums but they are never for no reasons. They were always because I didn't get what I wanted. If only I always get what I wanted, I would never ever throw tantrums. Don't you think that's normal?
Ah well, whatever it is, I think I should have my next birthday soon so I am not called the terrible two anymore.

Singapore (Again!) with Daddy

Don't get jealous! Here I am in Singapore again, but this time with my daddy. Mommy is too busy at work to take time off and Daddy needs a holiday. I know mommy is really worried to let me go on holiday just with my daddy (especially after I managed to wander off on my own while he was too busy talking to his friends the other day! He nearly lost me! Hang on, he did loose me! But he found me again at a lady's backyard playing with her baby and she was already on the phone to the police to report a lost (or found???) child! I think I gave him a fright! Well, served him right for being too busy talking and not giving me any attention!).
Well, mommy finally agreed to let me go with daddy after he promised not to loose me and to use a strap on my hand! Seems like daddy is really being very careful with me this time. And I am having GREAT FUN here with all my cousins and auntys and uncles.
Yum..yum.. look at all the food.. it's really yummy! Oh, and next to me is my big aunty, Shanice's and Samantha's mommy. This is the hawker centre near where my big aunty lives in Choa Chu Kang.I made big mess, but I don't care...Hmmmm... yuuuummmmmm....

Fish Feeding Fun

A couple of weeks ago, mommy and daddy took me to Dr Gully's Fish Feeding. There were soooooo many fish and we can hand feed the fish, but they were all so big, so I decided to just feed them from up there. Although.. daddy was so scared that I might fall off so he was always holding me!

This is me (again!) with my mommy's friend in Jakarta. She used to be mommy's teacher a long time ago in Medan. We had a lot of fun there we went shopping, swimming and eating (of course!). Mommy bought me lots of toys including my doggie and meow.

With all mommy's long time friends in medan and their kids. Mommy said that they have been friends from about 6 yrs old. That must be a long time ago, coz now they're all very old and have many kids. Aunty Nana has 3, Aunty Imelda has 2, Aunty Vivi has 2 and Aunty Lina has 2. Mommy said there should be one more but she is now living in Pekan Baru.

Again, it's been another little while since my mommy got her act together and update this page. It's about time, mommy! Btw, my mommy and I went to singapore and indonesia last easter. And we managed to spend 2 days in Medan to see Akong and mommy took me to this place full of crocs.. there are so many of them from little ones to the GIANT ones.. and I get to sit on one of them! How cool is that! Well, of course this one was a tamed one (and old!) that they often used for attractions. Funny thing is mommy is more scared than me! Hehe..

Isn't this just beautiful...? Yes, the kids in it.. not the background. well..alrite, the background as well.. My cousins - Nicholas (ikhuas/boyboy) and Megan - visited us for 9 days. Then one night we went to the Darwin Sailing Club to sit, relax and have some drinks while waiting for the sunset. It was beautiful, I had a walk on the beach with mommy.Yes.. I love walking on the beach with mommy. She showed me some shells n other things on the beach as well. I don't get to go into the water though, mommy said it was too dangerous, there could be a crocodile in it. I don't believe her, I think she just doesn't want me to get wet and dirty!This is me with my mommy and daddy..I love my daddy because he would look after me and spoil me when mommy gets angry with me. Oh, and he would give me a sip of his diet coke when mommy wasn't looking..sstt..don't tell my mommy..This is with mimi ie-ie (means aunty mimi), my cousins' mommy. It's been a while since my mommy updated this page. I reckon she is just being lazy. She always promised to do it and here I am, more than half a year later after the first posts...
Anyway, here I was waking up on Christmas day 2005... and then I noticed something different was hanging on the side of my bed. I looked around and mommy was there (daddy still asleep) saying that it was mine. So I opened what I then knew was a stocking and it's full of lollies and little toys and knick knacks... yey!This is me at 'The Planet'. It is a cool place for kids to play. I like going there and mommy likes it there too because she can just sit back and have coffee and watch me... until I pinch somebody.. *snigger*This is my friend Ben. His mommy(Chris) and my mommy are good friends. Ben is 3 weeks younger than me. I think I heard my mommy and his mommy said that they wanted to match us together, but pst..you know what..? I reckon his 3-year-old brother Jameson is more handsome :).I was soooo angry!!! Imagine, mommy took her mobile phone away and said it wasn't my toy! Huh!
